As a Senior Consultant at Haskè Conseil, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and monitoring of our strategies. You will be responsible for managing a high-performing team that delivers innovative and results-oriented solutions. In addition, you will help coordinate efforts between international and local stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop relevant approaches and methodologies for structuring analyses on less complex subjects.

  • Critical thinking in problem-solving and solution design.

  • Conduct complex research and analysis.

  • Structure and write sections of deliverables independently, with particular attention to detail.

  • Synthesise the results and formulate relevant recommendations based on the analyses, independently.

  • Structuring communications to encourage constructive exchanges with various stakeholders.

  • Manage your work plan effectively and produce deliverables on time.

  • Provide support to junior members of the team.

Profile

The skills and qualifications required to effectively carry out the duties and responsibilities of this position are :

  • Master’s degree in business administration, project management, master’s degree in administration/public policy or any other equivalent degree.

  • At least three years’ experience as a top performer in a consultancy firm or similar experience in the private sector.

  • At least three years’ experience in developing and analysing evidence-based solutions to strategic challenges.

  • At least three years experience in managing high-performance teams in an analytical and problem solving environment as a project manager.

  • Considerable knowledge of consultancy principles, technical practices, tools and methodologies applicable to various sectors of economic development.

  • Ability to produce detailed analyses for moderately difficult assignments.

  • Ability to contribute to the development of new policies or programmes in order to have an impact.

  • Sensitivity to the political and cultural environments of the areas where we work, or similar complex environments.

  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.

  • Ability to present information in a perceptive and structured way, both in writing and orally.

  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and to coach and manage junior team members, where appropriate.

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French.

  • Solid knowledge of the various local contexts and socio-economic challenges in multiple sectors.
